SIL eSocial Services consists of a digital and online platform for services offered by the Ministry for the Family and Social Solidarity and related entities such as Social Security, Family and Child Welfare, medical social services, services for elderly, Charity fund raising, community development.
The purpose of eSocial services is to ensure:
- Social security rights of the citizen are preserved
- It creates awareness of social security rights
- Better administration of social services such as to assist patients and their families with emotional or daily living problems arising from illness, trauma or disabilities
- To strive for the promotion of health awareness for patients, their families and the community.
- Provide elderly and disabled person and retired have a recreational activities in the community.
- Child welfare rights are preserved
- Medical social services are provided at the community level
- Enable best us of rehabilitation services in medical institutions and the community
- Promote a barrier free environment for persons with disabilities with a view to enabling them to access to premises and make use of the facilities and services
- Provide for the regulation and framework of e-social services
