KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyse, design and program application system of moderate complexity and scale
Conduct data analysis and prepare logical database structure
To mentor and coach junior resources
Assume maintenance responsibility of existing systems
Participate in Peer reviews to ensure that programs written comply with approved specifications and standards
Assume responsibility for
- the preparation of software documentation and user manuals and
- the testing and correction of programs
Communicate effectively with the project team
Perform any other related functions to be assigned by the Project Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the area of ICT;
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development or maintenance in using JAVA
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL
Knowledge of REST APIs
Knowledge of Git or similar versioning tool
Implement DevOps pipelines for Continuous Integration and Deployment using Jenkins or other relevant tool
Ability to work both on the back as well as Front (e.g., Angular/React)
Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker
Being already knowledgeable about setup of cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure
