Live data migration on SIL HRMIS completed for 38 ministries/departments

Live data migration is on progress and has already been achieved successfully on SIL HRMIS for 38 ministries and departments in Mauritius.  This batch is the first one to implement such migration that was completed on 31 October 2016. A second batch of 12 ministries and departments has been identified for carrying on the migration and implementation.

With the completion of this crucial phase, the first batch will use the HRMIS Core HR and Payroll application in real situation, as from the 1st of November 2016. At the same time, basic Self Service and on-line payslip functions of the HRMIS will be deployed for these ministries/departments. The second batch is targeted to use the system in live situation by the end of November 2016.

HRMIS is a high value-laden solution developed by SIL on Oracle technology to cater for the complex and strict needs of human resources management. It is being used for the first time as large scale for the government services of the Republic of Mauritius. Over 55,000 civil servants and the whole management of human resources in ministries and government departments will benefit from that SIL-developed solution.
